Why embryonic stem cells? 

In regards to embryonic stem cells:

Since cord blood stem cells and other stem cell advances have more potential than ESCs, why do so many people have such a desire to research embryonic stem cells and cause such a debate about it? Is it because they are ignorant to other stem cell advances due to embryonic propaganda, or because there is something great they believe could result from more ESC research?

If it is true that people are ignorant to other stem cells, do you think that anything at all could possibly come out of ESC research?

Answer:
People debate about embryonic stem cells because they consider the embryo to be the begining of life.

It kind of falls into the same debate about abortion.

Correct. In order to create embryonic stem cells human embryos have to be destroyed. Cord blood stem cells have just as much promise and are biological waste discarded in their billions daily.
